The farmers in rural areas of India are practicing traditional feeding to feed their dairy animals. The same pattern was observed in the State of Madhya Pradesh also. The animals were not fed with balanced ration and the traditional practices of feeding straw along with oil cakes alone was followed in rural areas of the State. The main feeds were wheat straw, wheat bran, pulse and cotton seed cake. Feeding of greens was rare and mineral mixture was as such absent from the ration. Keeping in mind the prevailing scenario in the area, Maalav MPC has come up with its Cattle Feed and area specific Mineral Mixture to meet the specific requirement of the operational area of Milk Producer Company. under the brand name of “Maalav Feed” and “Maalav Min” respectively.

Mineral Mixture
Minerals are essential for proper metabolic functions. Mineral mixture contains all the essential minerals in required quantities. Feeding area specific mineral mixture should be preferred. Maalav MPC has understood the requirement of the area and have introduced Madhya Pradesh Specific Mineral Mixture under the brand name “Maalav Min” in its operational area. The product specifically contains those minerals which are deficient in the soils of Madhya Pradesh.
